1. EOS Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm
Creating a lip balm that is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free is mighty impressive. I can see why EOS is so popular (see: Miley Cyrus – We Can’t Stop Music Video). They come in 6 lovely flavours but I think the Strawberry Sorbet variety sounds like the most kissable.
2. First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy
During the term time, I honestly survive on not enough sleep and too much caffeine. While I’m going to make a sterling effort to catch some more Zs, I’m hoping this little beauty will be a nice pick me up for when I have designer bags under my eyes.
3. thisworks In Transit Camera Close-up
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m lazy when it comes to my personal beauty regime insofar that I have none. An item that claims not only to work but boasts that it is a “mask, moisturiser and primer in one” sounds heaven sent. My interest on the thisworks In Transit collection was piqued a little while back but seeing Eleanor Calder (of The Trend Pear) with a bottle on her beauty shelf settled me.
4. thisworks In Transit Muscle Therapy
Muscles in my shoulders, back and neck are a big problem for me. I’m no genius but I’m guessing it derives from high stress levels and a mattress like a cattlegrid. As much as I’d like to visit a massage therapist for every knot and twinge I, unfortunately, have neither the funds nor time to spare. So, the next best thing seems to be this balm muscle therapy balm.
5. REN Glycomatic Radiance Renewal Mask
I received a sample size tube of this from those cute little welcome packs you receive on long haul flights. My roommate and I decided to try it one evening just to treat ourselves and I was actually incredibly impressed. I thought the smell of it was a little hinky, but the result was a really clean, fresh feeling and it’s time to invest.
6. Bumble and Bumble Good Tidings The Surf Gift Set
I’m from Cornwall so I’m always looking for a way to recreate perfect beachy waves when I’m living the London hustle. I’ve tried a few variations of salt and surf sprays but keep coming back to this Bumble and Bumble set. This special edition Christmas set also has and extra large spray and includes a miniature shampoo and conditioners for the full effect.
7. Tom Ford Lip Color in Vanilla Suede
Ever since Emma Watsons flawless Burberry Autumn Winter 2009 campaign, I’ve been searching in vain for the perfect nude lipstick to recreate her look. Apparently the makeup industry wasn’t quite on my wave length. So when I was perusing the Harvey Nichols beauty section and stumbled across this little gem, I knew my dreams had come true.
Here’s to a beautiful new year.
